I scaffold instruction by steps and address clarification in the next or the same lesson as needed. Provide clear directions and constantly self-reflect on the pace of the lesson and my instructions. Use different approaches like questioning, conversation in whole group or paring, and hands-on in the material or sentences we are using, such as stick on the board or complete in the presentation. That way, all of them can check responses and review their understanding.
